iLL-Literacy show in NYC Wednesday night 11/12!

So the homie Ruby of iLL-Literacy hipped me to a show they're having in NYC tomorrow night. If you're not familiar with ill-Literacy, here's a blurb from their website.

iLL-Literacy has covered much ground in a short time, rocking stages from off-Broadway New York to London's Picadilly, to its home base in the California Bay Area. News of the amazing talent has drawn attention from HBO's Def Poetry and MTV, as well as crowds who have witnessed the collective share the stage with the likes of Common, Mos Def, KRS-One, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

One of my favorite scenes ever

I saw this movie when I was 9, and I couldn't wait to be a teenager and party like this.

It's not just the music, the clothes, or the choreography. It's all of the above coupled with the energy of the whole scene.

House Party is fun. Not just movie fun, but the real fun you feel in your heart and soul that makes you lose your breath and feel like anything is possible.

Since the homie Tien moved to Australia, she's been making the necessary moves to get where she wants to be in life, be it her music, modeling, or any number of other endeavors she's set her eyes towards.
